Jeweler's Silicon Rubber Polishing Burs
Quickly finish your precious metal jewelry projects with these silicon rubber polishing burs.
Use these rubber burs after shaping with tungsten carbide burs to finish non-ferrous metals such as platinum, gold, titanium and silver with your rotary tool such as a Dremel or Foredom flexible shaft in a high speed handpiece or micro motor, or in a fixed-point lathe or pendant drill. Also suitable for use with glass, enamel, mild steel, acrylics, resin, and natural and synthetic nails.
Specifications
Rubber polishing burs are made from synthetic rubber impregnated with a fine abrasive grit that is long lasting and useful in many applications.
- Medium grit (brown) burs are used to cut and shape soft and semi-precious metals.
- Fine grit (green) burs are used for smoothing scratches and polishing soft and semi-precious metals.

- Point shape measures approximately 4.5 mm at widest, tapering to a point x 12.5 mm length
- Wheel shape measures approximately 12 mm diameter x 2.5 mm thickness
