Aluminum oxide dressing sticks are perfect for cleaning and truing-up your sintered diamond blades, laps, and wheels.
Keep your sintered diamond tools, laps, and wheels sharp and true with these dressing sticks made out of pure aluminum oxide. The dressing sticks remove the stone residue that builds up over time which slows down the cutting performance of sintered products, and exposes new diamond for renewed cutting. Simply run this dressing stick through your sintered blade or across your wheel or lap to clean and sharpen your tool.
It is important to remember that this process is destructive, and does remove material from your tools so it is important to not dress your blades and tools too frequently or when not needed. Slowed cutting can occur when cutting extremely hard, porous, "grabby" materials or when your sintered tools run too hot which can cause the matrix to become soft during those times. For use with sintered tools ONLY! Using them on single layer diamond surfaces like plated and brazed products will quickly destroy your tools.
